MÜDEK is a full member of ENAEE (European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education). MÜDEK is authorized by ENAEE to award EUR-ACE Label. MÜDEK is a Washington Accord Signatory of International Engineering Alliance.

ŞEBNEM BAYDERE Türkçe Received BSc and MSc degrees in Computer Engineering from METU, and obtained PhD degree in Computer Science from University College London (UCL) in 1990. Conducted research on distributed systems at UCL as a senior research fellow between 1990-1994. Published numerous articles on wireless sensor networks and distributed systems. Served as the founding Chair of the Computer Engineering Department at Yeditepe University between 1996-2014. She has been serving as the Director of Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences at the same university since 2014. During her term as the department chair, the department successfully passed MÜDEK accreditation process twice and acquired full five year accreditation in both. She has been taking part in MÜDEK teams as a program evaluator since 2009. She became a member of MÜDEK in 2014 and a member of MÜDEK Engineering Accreditation Board in 2015.
